1 Month On: The Impact of Climate Action Week Sydney 2025
One month on from Climate Action Week Sydney 2025, we reflect on a powerful week of collaboration, innovation and community action – made possible by our incredible partners, speakers and supporters.
It’s hard to believe it’s been a month since Climate Action Week Sydney 2025 lit up our city, but the momentum hasn’t stopped. The conversations, connections, and climate breakthroughs sparked during that unforgettable week are still buzzing through Sydney and beyond.
With over 12,000 tickets snapped up and 246 events unfolding across Greater Sydney, CAWSYD25 was more than just a success; it was a movement. From sold-out forums to late-night rooftop panels, the energy was electric, and the appetite for change was undeniable.
This city-wide celebration of climate action was only possible thanks to the powerful partnerships that made it happen. Our sponsors stepped up in every way: opening iconic venues, bringing global voices to the stage, and driving bold, future-focused conversations.
One of the most inspiring highlights? Watching climate solution start-ups take the spotlight, forging new relationships with investors and changemakers. With climate innovation more urgent than ever, CAWSYD25 proved just how powerful a platform like this can be in accelerating real, lasting impact.
"We're particularly excited to see climate solution start-ups given a platform and the valuable space to connect with investors. The need for idea sharing and innovation on climate action has never been more urgent, and this is a great opportunity for passionate, solutions-oriented discussion." - Christina Hobbs, General Manager, Impact and Advocacy, Future Group

These sessions highlighted cutting-edge policy and innovation, bridging public and private sectors to foster scalable climate action and support community resilience.

Salesforce
Salesforce brought their global thought leadership to the table by hosting two of the week's most anticipated gatherings: the VIP Networking Event and the Climate and AI Summit. These sessions fostered collaboration between tech, business, and climate sectors, spotlighting how artificial intelligence can be a force for sustainability and resilience.

Future Super
Future Super not only hosted two events during the week, but also lit up the events with creative and immersive activations. From their eye-catching “Future Cube” to the playful yet provocative “Future Phone” at the Party for the Planet, they helped bring imagination to climate action in fresh, unexpected ways.

Boundless
Boundless helped bridge the worlds of innovation, investment, and impact throughout the week. Georgia Lourandos took part in Greenhouse's Climate Innovation and Investment Summit and led a compelling interview with Dr Jonathan Pershing, former US Special Envoy for Climate Change, during our opening day event. Boundless’ involvement showcased the vital role of funding and innovation in accelerating climate action.

Their vibrant innovation hub hosted several cornerstone events, including our Opening Day, the Nature Positive Futures Summit, and the Climate Innovation and Investment Summit. Across the week, Greenhouse created an environment that encouraged bold thinking, collaboration, and practical solutions – bridging startups, investors, and climate leaders in meaningful conversations about what comes next.
