Questions
Who can get involved in CAWSYD?
Everyone has a role to play in climate action. Whether you're an individual, community group, business, university, council or organisation, there are many ways to contribute to CAWSYD27.
Does it cost to host an event?
No. Listing your event in the official CAWSYD program is free. Organisers cover their own event delivery costs. Ticketing is welcome where needed to cover direct costs, but events should not be run for profit.
How does my event be promoted?
Approved events are listed in the official CAWSYD program, filtered by our eight topics to help audiences discover what's happening across Sydney. You'll also receive access to CAWSYD brand assets to help promote your event through your own channels.
Can you help me find a venue?
Yes. We connect event organisers with available venue options across Greater Sydney. You can explore the venue directory and enquire directly with venues about availability, costs and arrangements.
What kind of events can I host?
From workshops and talks to exhibitions, tours, markets and community activities, we welcome a wide range of events that inspire climate action. Events should align with CAWSYD's mission and contribute to a more sustainable, resilient and nature-positive future.
